On Thursday, the aviation industry faced considerable turmoil as several flights operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) were abruptly cancelled, alongside multiple international delays. The primary cause of this disruption stemmed from ongoing issues with aircraft availability and maintenance.

Among those affected, two significant international routes were hit hard. PIA Flight PK 832 from Karachi and Flight PK 960 from Lahore to Jeddah were both cancelled. Moreover, a domestic flight linking Karachi and Lahore was also grounded, worsen the situation for passengers within the country.
These cancellations and delays are part of a broader impact, with the arrival and departure of 26 international flights from various airports across Pakistan also facing significant delays.
